Confidentiality: Dr. Augustin is committed to protecting the confidentiality of your patient information. She will not disclose any patient information to anyone without the client’s written consent, except in cases where disclosure is required by law.
- Informed consent: Dr. Augustin will obtain informed consent from her patients before providing any treatment. This means that she will explain the risks and benefits of the treatment, and will obtain the patient’s agreement prior to proceeding.

- Billing: Patients will be billed for services in accordance with the fee schedule that has been discussed. Dr. Augustin will also provide patients with an itemized bill that lists all services that were provided and the associated fees. Dr. Augustin currently provides out-of-network services . However, Dr. Augustin can offer a superbill for reimbursement from your insurance company.
- Payment: Patients are responsible for paying for their services in full at the time of service. This practice accepts zelle, venmo, cash app, and credit card.
- Cancellations: Patients must cancel appointments 24 hours in advance, or they will be charged a cancellation fee.
- Telehealth: Currently, Dr. Augustin is only accepting Telehealth/virtual appointments which are conducted using video conferencing software.
- Medication management : Dr. Augustin offers medication management services for patients who are taking psychiatric medications. Due to current policies regarding prescribing controlled substances for patients seen virtually, Dr. Augustin can only prescribe controlled substances on a case-by-case basis for those living in Philadelphia. Otherwise, Dr. Augustin may attempt to collaborate with your primary care physician for controlled substance prescribing.
- Referrals: Dr. Augustin will refer patients to other providers if she believes that they would benefit from additional services.
